It's cold in Arkansas.

The weather has turned a bit cold.
The dentist says I have no cavities.

We've played the last two Thursday nights and had some good games!
It looks like I won't be able to play this Saturday again! But we're camping so should be fun.

No summer soccer league this year for the return of mga pangit. :(

But we've been playing about once a week down at the park anyway and it's been a lot of fun. No terrible injuries, but some good times. :)

FBF FC update (summer 2006)

We have one regular season game left. It has been a grueling season. As time has gone on participation has been diminished for our team and other teams as well. Interestingly we had been winless until our last two games. There is one regular season game left, but we lost one player due to ankle injury two games ago.

Apparently there is a tournament after the regular season so we may have at least one more game left.

One year we roasted a whole pig. We'll have music, dancing, food, and lots of fun. Phattie's Gold won't be performing but you may be able to find some members of the band there. And if you need a place to stay after the party we have some of those.

Grinta - This is an Italian word meaning determination. But I think it means something more - having a willpower to push forward through whatever difficulties arise. One of those amazing people that never gives up is Ivan Zamorano. I haven't followed soccer lately, but here is a link I found of when he played for Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A league:

In other news Arkansas lost to Vanderbilt. Next week they go on the road to face #1 USC.
